How much should you charge for ads?

A good idea would be to look at other people’s ezines on similar topics and see how much they charge. You’ll probably find that most charge based on a combination of the number of subscribers, and the size and positioning of the ad.

Generally large multi-line ads near the top of ezines are the most expensive, and shorter classified ads (often 1 or 2 lines) are much cheaper. Additionally, some ezine publishers also sell Solo Ads, usually for a premium price, where subscribers are sent a special issue consisting entirely of a single large ad.

It’s really not that difficult to start an ezine and here’s
how you can do it quickly and easily.

First you need a topic for your ezine. The topic of your
ezine should have to do with your product line or niche.

For instance, if you have an ebook that shows someone how
to fix a flat tire, then you want to keep your ezine on
the topic of tires.
