It was once in style to claim that mailing lists no longer worked. The opposite seems to be true now: on every forum, marketers and business owners proclaim the power of using an opt-in form and a newsletter to make sales from follow-ups. I personally suggest this method, as it has been proven time and time again to produce higher conversion rates than attempts at direct sales.

We keep hearing the over used term “the money is in the list”. This is becoming like the old saying “the cheque is in the mail”. There are 2 common factors in the afore mentioned expressions, the money and the mailing list, but that is where the similarities end. We must acknowledge that the surest way to make sales and money is by selling to your mailing list. Thus, the most precious asset in your arsenal is – your list.

We’ve all been in uncomfortable social settings. Perhaps there are a few surface conversations going on, but nobody is really revealing very much about themselves and the entire event f filled with strained pleasantries.
Do you like this kind of social interaction? Many people don’t.
Because there is a sense of anonymity in the online world of forums or message boards there is incredible growth in this medium.

There are many distinct forms of web directories; some of these would be general directories that would wrap a broad array of topics to those that wrap a particular niche. Another dissimilarity in internet directories is that many are available as “free” web directories and there are directories that are “paid” web directories, its all for what you have in mind and what niche directory you are looking to display with.

So, what is Overture?
Like Google, Yahoo sells paid placement advertising links that appear on its own site and which are distributed to others. These are sold through Overture. Yahoo purchased Overture as part of an acquisition in October 2003.
Overture also provides sponsor links for many other search engines, most notably: MSN, AllTheWeb and AltaVista.
Today, Google accounts for about 46% of websearches. Yahoo accounts for about 22.5% and MSN 12.6%. So you see, Overture really is just as important to use as Google Adwords. Personally I use overture extensively and I highly recommend that you do so too.

Each items is prepared especially to present the booth visitor with an impression of a specific business.
Company colors are used in the giveaway product and the staff will typically wear polo or t-shirts that are emblazoned with the company logo and colors. Bags are filled with brochure information, window stickers and other promotional products.
