Music Software and how it has changed in the last 10 years
A musicians description of how you can write music and record CD’s using simple equipment and free or low cost software.
Recording a CD used to be a very expensive, very complicated process. With fairly basic equipment and free software you can now do a fairly reasonable job at home.
Did you know that you don’t need to spend hundreds of dollars to get a demo recording done? and you don’t need to spend lots of money on equipment either!
When I was in my first band and we needed to get a demonstration CD done we would have to spend hundreds of dollars going to studios and getting tracks laid down.
